As a result of your musical background and your extensive knowledge of the community, you have been selected by the town council to plan and produce this CD.Product, Performance and PurposeUsing your knowledge of the elements of music, you are to title and describe 10 pieces of music to be written and recorded. Each piece should be unique in its subject matter and represent a different aspect of your community. You should include a description of why you choose the title as well as the form, tempo, chords, intervals, scales, notes, rests, meters and keys used in each of the pieces. A description of the melody. harmony and rhythm is also expected.Standards and Criteria for SuccessThe town council approves your plan for the album and begins work on composing and recording it.
