Your map must include the following: A name and brief description, Map key/legend, Compass and scale, Latitude and longitude lines with labels, The eight major physical regions, Major bodies of water- (The Nile, Mediterranean, Red Sea, Lake Victoria), Location of The Ancient Kingdoms Ghana, Mali, and Songhai, Location of Timbuktu, The Atlantic Slave Trade hub (West Africa), The Serengeti Plains, The Sahara Desert, The Great Rift Valley, The Swahili Coast. Your map key must include: Color Coding, List of Map features, Identifying Landforms, Natural Resources, Centers of Historical Importance.
